Aesthetics Technician - Esthetician / Injector

$20-$27 Hourly - Depending on experience & qualifications

BeSpoke Vision needs an Aesthetics Optometric Technician to help contribute to the best patient service experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with a team of compassionate and engaging professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients!

Prior eyecare experience is a plus, but certainly not required. We offer paid training to the right person with a great attitude, a love for helping people, and an appetite for learning!

In this role, you will assist in our state-of-the-art aesthetics suite as we perform IPL, RF and laser treatments, Botox injections and a plethora of dry eye treatments.

You will also contribute to our optometry clinic team by preparing patients to see our physicians, coordinate treatment plans, caretake patient needs and answer their questions, complete electronic patient charts accurately as well as anything else needed. This is a full-time position offering the stability of a career in healthcare, with NO WEEKENDS, no on-call & no evenings!

Requirements

• 2+ years successful health or patient care experience AND 1+ year in an aesthetic clinic, medspa or other luxury/aesthetically based wellness setting OR an esthetician/RN injector certification 
• Supreme ability to make patients very at home in your presence and confident in your care
• The ability to have close physical contact with patients in a professional and comforting way
• Ability to educate and coach patients through prescribed treatments, aftercare and what to expect
• Ability to confidently work autonomously; knowing when to ask questions
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient with computers and technology
• A sense of urgency without sacrificing thoroughness
• Strong desire to help people

Nice to have but not required:

• Optometric Technician patient care experience with a great attitude
• CPO, CPOA, CPOT, CPOC, NCLE

Some of your duties will include:

• Self-managing timely patient pickup using our schedule as a guide
• Prep the aesthetics suite for patient arrival based on appointment type
• Assist our physicians with treatments and procedures in the aesthetics suite
• Work-up patients for their visits or consultations; including performing testing on equipment and documenting patient results accurately in our electronic health records
• Have personable and meaningful conversations with patients, while guiding their experience to ensure you achieve objectives in a timely manner
• Make visits within the community to strengthen and expand our referral network
• Attend and initiate/plan networking events
• Participate in BeSpoke’s social media marketing endeavors
• Seek out and invest in continuing education in your craft
• Adhere to best clinical practices
• Scribing visits and maintaining compliance
• Continue to build on and exceed the patient service experience
• Coordinating with the Clinic Director
• Continual Self Development
