WHAT TO EXPECT

Photo rejuvenation (IPL) sessions last anywhere from 15-30 minutes. Prior to the procedure, a cooling gel will be applied to the treatment area and, for your eye’s safety, you will be provided protective eyewear. During the treatment you may experience a warm sensation, but the treatment is gentle should not feel uncomfortable.

After treatment, you may experience redness around the treated areas that usually disappears quickly. Daily activities can be resumed immediately although, for best results, it is recommended to limit sun exposure after the procedure.

For optimal results, a series of treatments is recommended. Because every patient is different, Dr. McGee will work with you to develop a treatment plan to meet your needs.
