Since starting her career as a Doctor of Optometry in 2002, Dr. McGee has been passionate about improving the lives of her patients by helping them achieve optimal vision.
She understands that many aspects of day-to-day life are impacted when vision suffers. There is nothing more rewarding than the moment when a patient experiences improved visual clarity.
Dr. McGee is board certified in the following specialized areas:
Originally from Leedey, a small town in Western Oklahoma, Dr. McGee grew up on a small farm and has fond memories of raising a Hereford bull calf who thought he was a dog.
She developed a competitive spirit playing both softball and basketball in high school which led to her earning a college basketball scholarship.
After her freshman year in college, Dr. McGee spent a summer working for two optometrists in Pennsylvania and fell in love with the profession. Instead of returning to college in Kansas, she told her coach she was withdrawing and transferred to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, where she spent six years studying optometry.
Today, Dr. McGee lives in Edmond with her husband Adam and their two daughters, Evey and Emery.
After earning her O.D. in 2002, Dr. McGee joined the Dean McGee Eye Institute where she gained valuable experience working with cornea and glaucoma specialists.
In 2006 Dr. McGee became an owner / partner at McGee, Pickard and Robinson Eye Associates in Midwest City, actively treating patients with severe dry eye conditions as well as corneal diseases requiring specialty contact lenses.
In 2014 Dr. McGee acquired Olsen Eye Care and launched Precision Vision Edmond, which later became BeSpoke Vision, allowing her to expand services to help patients with dry eye and specialty contact lens needs.
In 2018, she introduced eye rejuvenation services to help patients bothered by drooping eyelids or wrinkles around their eyes. While most people associate these services with plastic surgeons or aesthetic clinics, Dr. McGee believes her unique understanding of the eye and all the muscles surrounding the eye allow her to provide her patients with an unparalleled quality of care.
