VISION CARE FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES
Kids grow quickly. One moment they are cute toddlers and the next they are getting their driver's permit.
We can easily see the changes in their physical appearance as they grow, but we don't always recognize their eyes are changing too.
80% OF LEARNING IS VISUAL
Whether your child is pre-k, in elementary, middle, high school or college, nearly 80% of what they learn in school is visually presented information.
From academics to sports, the ability to see clearly has a direct impact on results.

A VISIT TO THE EYE DOCTOR SHOULD BE EXCITING , NOT SCARY.
Dr. McGee has young children and understands young kids have short attention spans and can also be a little apprehensive about visiting a doctor's office.
At BeSpoke Vision, our children's eye exams have been customized to make them kid-friendly and less like a doctor visit.
As a parent it can be hard to understand how your child sees the world around them. Thanks to some cool technology, you will be able to look at the world through your child's eyes.
AT WHAT AGE SHOULD A CHILD HAVE AN EYE EXAM?
- Because the eyes are so important to child development, children should receive their first eye assessment around six months of age. We offer free eye assessments for infants from six to 12 months.
- Before your child learns to grab, speak or walk, they use their eyes to learn and communicate. There are few videos more touching than those showing an infant seeing their parents for the first time through corrective lenses.
- Now, imagine for a moment if that same child didn't have their first eye exam until they were six years old. How much would they have had to compensate or adjust because of vision problems?
- BeSpoke Vision supports the InfantSEE program developed by the American Optometric Association and offers free eye assessments to babies between six and 12 months.
